CRAFTING? WELL WHAT IS THIS, MINECRAFT?!

BASICALLY! Here's how it works:

Every Sunday, each member is assigned their own Weekly Crafting Assignment that should be met by Saturday.
On a daily basis, each member will also receive an allowance of crafting supplies called Daily Gatherings that will help them to reach their assignment or even craft something from the shop!

Dailies are dropped into your inventory automatically on our trading post website which is also where your weekly assignment is posted.
What you receive in your dailies is based on the probability table below, always in amounts of 1-3.

As an example, you can receive 3 Melon, 1 Fish, and 2 Useless Poo (our new "nothing" item) in one daily gathering. That's half lucky!

Furthermore, by finishing a public roleplay in one of our chatrooms, you're eligible for more gathering supplies!
Just send !give rp gatherings to our #trading-post chatroom once you're done and be sure to add the gatherings MonomiBot gives you to your account manually.

The aforementioned chatroom can also be utilized as a bazaar for you to trade items with your fellow members tit-for-tat. See trading below.

WHAT DO I GET FOR COMPLETING MY WEEKLY ASSIGNMENTS?

Two things:
CRAFTING POINTS and the ASSIGNMENT ITSELF.

Crafting points are a measure of how every CLASS and individual STUDENT on the isle is doing in terms of the monthly Class Wars activity: Minecraft Hunger Games.
End-of-the-month prizes include raw item lootboxes, MBC (our group currency), items from the shop, and free gatherings of your choice!

All points are tracked automatically on the site every time you craft something, so please try to avoid accidental or experimental crafting.

As for the assignment itself, some can be used to craft other assignments and things from the shop, but they can also be liquidated into MBC. Yes, MBC!

LIQUIDATION: TURNING ASSIGNMENTS INTO MBC

Now that you have a whole bunch of weeklies sitting around in your inventory, what do you do with them?
Some can be used to craft other things, but it's true that some have no further use in crafting.

In that case, if you'd like to turn finished assignments into MBC, simply visit our LIQUIDATION page on the site and confirm which finished assignments you'd like exchanged. Note that any MBC received through liquidation WILL contribute towards Class Wars: Battle for the Bank. HOORAY!

TRADING

Indeed, raw items can be traded amongst your fellow peers in our #trading-post channel on the Jabberwock server!
There, you can ask specific people to trade their items with you or just shout out into the void what it is you need.

:new:
You CANNOT trade finished assignments to other members, even if they were exchanged via RP. Raw items only.

Trading must be done tit-for-tat.
This means 1 Paper for 1 Nail or 5 Paper and 1 Milk for 4 Nails and 2 Eggs. Get it? It's the law of equivalent exchange!
Do not negotiate several common items in exchange for one rare item, as an example.

It's also worth noting to any new members: trading must be done manually by you and he whom you're trading with. Once a trade has been agreed upon, simply visit the trading post website and add and subtract the items from your inventory. When it comes to finishing your weekly assignment though, hitting that craft button WILL subtract those items from your inventory automatically.

F A Q

What happens if I don't finish my weekly assignment?
That's okay! There are no punishments in this game. You get to keep all your gatherings and try again next week (unless you're really saving up for something in the store).

Can I gift finished assignments to other students?
No. They shouldn't be traded nor gifted. All assignments should stay your own, liquidated, or removed from your inventory. Shop items you craft CAN be gifted, however.

Is the Google Form still being used for crafting points?
No! If you still see a Google Form or read somewhere about it, know that we're not using them anymore. It's all automatic now (hence why it's important to not do accidental or experimental crafting as anything you craft will be logged towards Minecraft Hunger Games and mods DO have access to these transactions).

How do I sign up to the website?
Only current members of the group have permission to own an account with the site. Simply sign up and contact mod Pepper-Wood for further assistance!
